How do you get a support dog for a diabetic?

To get a diabetic support dog in Charleston, you must complete an application. After two to three weeks, we will contact you for a phone interview to ensure that you are a good fit for one of our support dogs.

Upon pre-approval, we will ask you to visit our facility for a meet-and-greet with our dogs and team.

Because we take the time to train our diabetic support dogs properly, we recipients may have to wait up to 6 months before bringing home a diabetic service dog.

Our dogs can retrieve objects, close doors, open cabinets, and provide physical support to prevent patients from falling. They are also the perfect pal for diabetic individuals who live alone.

Please note that we only accept applications from handlers that are within an 8-hour drive on Chattanooga, Tennessee.
