Rachael Hooper

Rachael Hooper

Trainer

Rachael Hooper — finding LoneStar Diabetic Alert Dogs, LLC was an answered prayer. It is a great joy working with the dogs and getting them ready to do their life-saving work. But it is bittersweet when it's time for them to leave with their permanent handlers. Rachael was pleasantly surprised at the similarities between schooling pups and schooling her kids, though the adorable pups are more enthusiastic students. She takes great pride in what our training has accomplished and the joy that the pups will be greatly loved and appreciated. Rachael is very grateful to be a part of the LoneStar Diabetic Alert Dogs, LLC program and loves to hear good reports of how the pups are behaving and saving the lives of their handlers. She has been with Lone Star since 2021.
